So... Where did I leave off?

Did I leave you hanging? Wednesday we took the boat and bus back to Cancun again to try to get out of Mexico.  We over nighted in a VERY basic hotel right across the street from the bus stop.  We ate at a sanborn's (the first restaurant that the menu was all in Spanish) and took the 4:30 bus to the airport, that was $6.50 per person.  At the airport, everything looked great for the 7:00 flight, then it was delayed until almost 10.... The flight attendants got in at 1:00 in the morning the night before and needed their legal rest time.... Well, the fun started there.  There was a snow storm in Atlanta on Tuesday.  I think it was 2 inches, a drop in the bucket if you live in New England, but if you live in the south, it shuts everything down including the airport and the roads that might bring you there.  So, our flight had all the right parts, flight attendants, pilots, a plane, but get this.... No gate agents.... The agents didn't get to work!!!  Can you image that happening in Boston?  Any way, we got on and made it to West Palm Beach, from there we took a taxi to the tri-rail ($15) and the train to Miami ($6.90 each).  A car rental later, and a stop at Wendy's and we made it to our hotel.  So speaking of the train, it runs behind the hotel literally on the other side of a wall....OMG it's loud and it's frequent!  Jimmy came in yesterday after a cancellation and a delay out of Atlanta again, but we are about to start the second half of our adventure... Off to the port of Miami for a weekend cruise to the Bahamas... Today is Jimmy's 65th birthday, and we will meet Brian in the port... Let's hope this is uneventful!
