Oh, the life of a non rev

This weekend started months ago with our plans to go to Iceland.  We had hotels, a car and plans of grandeur.  Well as plans go, it fell apart; not once, but twice.  Since we fly standby, I diligently watched the passenger loads and we decided about a week ago to switch gears and go to Orlando, our regular back up.  Well plan two fell through with the threat of a snow storm with the potential of up to a foot looming in the future.  Damn, here we go again. So here I sit in a hotel room on Cape Cod.  Yes, it's cold and no, I don't like the cold.  I have to admit today wasn't too bad.  We went to the Cape Cod potato chip factory, then to the Cape Cod brewery.  We found out the brewery was having a party later on, so we went back.  That was pretty cool.  They had live music and food, most of which was made with their beers.  It was fun even though we definately felt like outsiders.  It felt like walking into Cheers, where everybody knows your name, oh, except ours!  Prior to the party we checked into the Holly Tree and went for what we thought would be a relaxing swim... How wrong we were.  A family moved into the pool almost literally.  They set up a volley ball net across half the pool, and some other game in the smaller pool and splashed and yelled and you would have thought there were a hundred people there... Of course they only added up to seven.  I can't imagine taking over a whole area like that.  Anyway, I forgot my adapter to add pictures, so I'll have to put those in when I get home.  Now I'm tired.... Good night!
