Maybe we should start at the beginning

Or maybe not.... Our latest trip started Friday when we flew from Boston through JFK to San Juan.  We stayed at the airport hotel.  Certainly not the best hotel in the world, not even close, but it is convenient... You can walk there from the terminal.  We took a taxi to get something to eat.  An employee at the hotel recommended metropol and it was great, Cuban and Puerto Rican food.  Saturday we got up, had breakfast and headed for our adventure.  Literally, we're on Adventure of the Seas.  We got on board about 12:00. We've been on the ship before, so we just walked around a little before we ate, of course, and found a bar.  There is something to do pretty much every minute of the day, but sometimes you just need to relax and take a nap ;).
It's Sunday night and today was Jimmy's birthday.  I saw him for a few minutes at breakfast and then again at supper.  Bubba had the waiters sing to him.  Anyway, Jimmy's birthday aside, bubba and I went scuba diving today.  We were in St Croix and we dove with N2 the blue... Awesome!! We actually dove with them years ago and loved it then, and I think it got better.  Usually we need a little extra help at the beginning of our dive, bubba's ears and my bouyancy are usually the issues.  Jenny, the dive master was awesome.  She had us take our time for his ears and emptied almost her whole weight belt into my vest.  I had asked for 14 lbs, but by mistake I was only given 8... Not good, I was floating like a balloon, but Jenny came to the rescue with most of her weights.  It was an awesome dive.  We saw tons of fish including an eel and a field of worms.  It was beautiful.  I almost forgot to mention you could choose to take your BCD off in the water to make it easier to vacate the water.  Again awesome! When we dove in Grand  Caymen a few months ago, I asked for help and I was told "no"  so, out I climbed with over 60 lbs on my back, I thought I was going to tip over and back into the water.  We have to remember to check reviews to see how the shops handle getting out.  Anyway, I'm getting tired listening to Bubba snoring next to me, so I think it's time to go to sleep.... No plans for tomorrow, or for that matter for any of our port days... We'll see how it goes if we wing it.
