Vision of the Seas
We're off on another adventure! We're up to day four of our cruise. We started our week in Orlando at Universal, I love the new rides and the whole essence of Diagonal Alley. Any Harry Potter fan needs to make the trek and unfortunately pay the two park admission to see everything.
We took our cruise out of Tampa after going to dinner with Brian Friday night. It's always good to see him. Day one of the cruise was at sea, nothing very exciting, but it's good to catch up on sleep. Day two we went to Roatan Honduras. We took a tour through the cruise that brought us to a park where we got to hang with some macaws and white face capuchin monkeys. It wasn't what I expected, but it was fun anyway. The blurb about it said something about a cave and petroglyphs, but the cave was man made, and there weren't any petroglyphs. The tour guide was good, but again, not what I expected. When we got back near the ship, I was in search of a needle and thread to sew on a button. We ended up on a sort of walking tour of the town. Nothing scary, but Bubba was a little horrified that I was talking to this guy. He did find my needle and thread though! And to top off Bubba's day, he finally got to eat iguana! He said it tasted like chicken, so my question is why not just eat chicken? Today we spent the day in Belize. We stayed inside the gated section, and it was way too crowded and not my idea of fun. There wasn't a beach in sight and the tender took about 15 minutes to get to the shore. Next time we'll need book an excursion. Tomorrow we're off to Cozumel, we've been there many times so it should be an okay day. These port calls are way too early for me :(
Well, we're in Cozumel, and it's raining, but it's still better than snow! We're just walking around, dodging rain drops! Tomorrow is our last port, which is Costa Maya, I hope the rain stops!
